As we enter 2025, I’m sure many of you did NOT get what you wanted from your wish list. Was there a new medium voltage variable frequency drive on your list? Fortunately, lead times on electronic components like semiconductors has vastly improved in this post-COVID world, but the prices certainly have not. Despite the improvement, lead times still hover around 14 weeks or more for a new medium voltage drive; in a loss-of-production situation, this simply isn’t going to cut it.
