Medium Voltage MV VFD for Lease or Rental

EMA has several medium voltage MV VFDs for lease or rental. We have several Toshiba T300MVI VFDs for rent, rated 4160 volts at 1000 HP and below. We also have Siemens Robicon Perfect Harmony units for rent. These are rated 4160 volts at 1750 HP.DSC05517 Call us at 770-448-4644770-448-4644 to discuss renting or leasing these medium voltage VFDs.

These MV VFDS units are available for immediate rental, and can be viewed at our Norcross location. The Toshiba T300MVi units have built in switchgear, and can easily be configured for lower horsepowers. EMA can do this programming for you. Both the Toshiba and the Siemens Robicon Medium Voltage VFDs are in NEMA 1 enclosures for indoor operation.robicondriveline

EMA can assist with installation, startup, and tuning. The units are also available for direct purchase by calling 770-448-4644770-448-4644 or using any of the contact methods on the right of this page.

In addition to these VFDs, EMA has a number of low voltage VFDs in stock for immediate shipment. We carry spare parts for the both the Robicon Siemens and the Toshiba units.

The Toshiba T300MVI is one of the best and most reliable medium voltage VFDs on the market. It has a PWM 5-level design, which allows for a smaller size, reduced component count and a lower cost. The T300MVi can use the existing motors and is works with all power systems. In addition, it is one of the safest Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives on the market. The particular medium voltage VFDs we have for rent or lease also have a sine wave filter which allows very long motor leads if necessary.

The Siemens Robicon Perfect Harmony medium voltage VFD is a popular model. It’s primary claim to fame is its cell bypass design which allows the Robicon Perfect harmony to continue running even with a failed output cell. The units we have are rated at 1750 HP, but can be configured for lower horsepowers if necessary.

  1. I’m working with a local iron mine on a pit dewatering project. They are looking to rent a 800HP, 4160V VFD to begin pumping while their permanent VFD’s are under construction (about 2-3 months). Ideally, the VFD would have PID to modulate flow, a 4-20mA input for overpressure shutdown. The project site is in Virginia, MN.
